Welcome

12:45 p.m. service Q & A

Why are we having a 4th service at 12:45 pm? God continues to send people to the church and an additional service is the best way to quickly provide seats for people that want to come. We have always been committed to providing seats for anyone that wants to grow in their relationship with Christ or investigate the claims of Christ. Our attendance has steadily grown and we are bumping into some barriers at the church that prevent accommodating people comfortably. Parking, kids space and seating in the auditorium are approaching full capacity, depending on the service.

What changes will the church have to make to ensure we can offer 4 services in a row? The message portion of the service will need to be adjusted. 4 teaching talks in a row would be too challenging. 1 teaching talk will be video every week and the other 3 talks will be live. All of the other aspects of the service will be unchanged.

How will we know which service will be a video message? The short answer is we won't! It will be random each week. The 9:00 am service will be live each week so that we can record the talk and play it back for one of our later services.

Will the band be live? Yes. The band, the kids area, and every other aspect of the service will be live except the talk portion of one service.

What are the benefits of a video talk? a) It gives the pastor a rest. b) It is not intimidating to someone asking questions about faith. c) Video technology will help us to touch more people and possibly open new campuses in the future. Churches all over America are using it with great success. d) It is the same practical message, just a new method of delivery. e) The tech team can smooth out some of Scott's old man wrinkles with software.

I am not much for crowds. Which service times do you think will be the least crowded? We anticipate the 11:30 am and 12:45 pm service times to be the least crowded, however, we also thought the Falcons would win the Super Bowl. Our service times are fairly well spread now, with the 11:30 am service having the most room.

What is our plan long-term? The church has been looking and continues to look at multiple possibilities. Whatever the future, we want to ensure we continue to have options to expand. We want to be ready and available to continue to do whatever God desires.

Would it be possible for the church to provide a nice chicken lunch at the 12:45 pm service? We thought about that too, but they are too hard to catch.
